2014 Front Entrance, Seattle WA
This project replaced a rotten and poorly designed stair. By moving the posts around and meticulously coordinating the plan and elevation I was able to eliminate one tread from the lower flight, which dramatically improved circulation around that corner of the house, the patio to the left and path along the side to the right.
I worked through the winter and pre-painted everything in the garage. Details included ipe risers, a new front door, and a tongue and groove alder ceiling.
